FEED THE STREET
Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: [December 2026]
Welcome to Feed the Street, a community feeding initiative dedicated to organizing food distribution exercises for people in need. By making a donation, sponsoring an exercise, or otherwise supporting Feed the Street, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. About Feed the Street
Feed the Street is a community initiative that organizes feeding exercises and accepts voluntary financial support from individuals, businesses, groups and other supporters.
The initiative is not presented as a commercial food-selling service. Contributions are intended to support the planning, preparation and delivery of feeding exercises.
2. Donations
All donations made through Feed the Street are voluntary contributions toward the initiative’s feeding activities.
Donations may be used for purposes including:
- Food and ingredients
- Food preparation and packaging
- Transportation and logistics
- Distribution activities
- Feeding exercise-related materials
- Other reasonable expenses directly connected with organizing the exercise
Where necessary, Feed the Street may allocate a contribution to the area of the program where it is most needed.
3. Sponsoring an Entire Feeding Exercise
Individuals, businesses or groups may choose to sponsor an entire Feed the Street exercise.
An exercise designated as a full sponsorship should generally serve 500 or more people, subject to practical considerations including location, food availability, logistics and the amount received.
Full sponsorship does not give the sponsor ownership or control over Feed the Street or its operations.
Feed the Street will determine the practical arrangements for the exercise, including food preparation, distribution arrangements, location and timing.
4. Regular Community Exercises
Feed the Street may organize regular exercises funded by contributions from multiple supporters.
Contributions toward a regular exercise may be combined with contributions from other donors to fund the overall exercise.
5. Individual Sponsorship
Supporters may also choose to provide support intended for an individual person in need.
Feed the Street will determine the appropriate manner of providing the support based on the circumstances and available resources.
An individual sponsorship should not be interpreted as creating a personal relationship, obligation or continuing responsibility between the sponsor and the person receiving support.
6. Use of Donations
Feed the Street will make reasonable efforts to use contributions for their stated purpose.
However, circumstances may require adjustments to the original plans. For example, changes in food prices, availability, transportation, weather, safety or location may affect how an exercise is conducted.
Where an exercise cannot proceed as originally planned, Feed the Street may reschedule the exercise or redirect the available funds toward a similar feeding activity.
7. Donor Recognition
Feed the Street may acknowledge donors and supporters on its website, social media platforms or other official communication channels.
A donor’s name may be published as part of a donor recognition list where appropriate.
Publication of a donor’s name does not mean that the donor personally selected a particular beneficiary or that a particular person received the donor’s specific contribution, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Donors may request that their names not be publicly displayed.
8. Photos and Videos
Feed the Street may take photographs or videos during feeding exercises for documentation, reporting and promotional purposes.
Reasonable care will be taken when documenting people receiving support, particularly children and other vulnerable individuals.
Where appropriate, Feed the Street may avoid publishing identifying information about individuals receiving assistance.
9. No Guarantee of a Specific Outcome
While Feed the Street will make reasonable efforts to conduct exercises as described, the initiative does not guarantee a specific number of meals, beneficiaries, location or distribution arrangement where circumstances outside its reasonable control affect the exercise.
10. Payment Errors
If a donor accidentally makes a duplicate payment or experiences an identifiable payment error, the donor may contact Feed the Street with the relevant transaction information.
Any refund or correction will be considered based on the circumstances and the applicable payment provider’s procedures.
11. Changes to an Exercise
Feed the Street reserves the right to change the date, location, method of distribution or other arrangements for an exercise when reasonably necessary.
Where significant changes occur, reasonable efforts may be made to communicate the changes to affected sponsors or supporters.
12. Prohibited Use
Users must not use the Feed the Street website or payment systems for:
- Fraudulent transactions
- Money laundering
- Unauthorized fundraising
- False representations
- Any unlawful activity
- Attempts to misrepresent Feed the Street or its activities
13. Transparency
Feed the Street may publish information about completed exercises, including the date, general location, number of people served and photographs or videos.
The level of information published may vary depending on privacy, safety, operational and other practical considerations.
14. Third-Party Services
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Feed the Street is not responsible for technical interruptions, delays or failures caused by third-party payment systems.
Users may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of the relevant payment provider.
